Chimera is a new film from Ian Messenger, director of CatchMeKillMe Productions. This film was brilliant!! He uses the raw emotions of a drama and blended it with horror leaving you sad and freaked out at the end.
The main character is haunted by the ghost of his mother because he feels that when he was a kid, he could have prevented his mothers death.
The cuts were good. There was no choppiness between scenes and the acting was good. Chimera got to the point without the fluff. The only constructive criticism I would have is to add different types of cuts to the scenes and show the lead at the end for a few more seconds to make the audience uncomfortable.
Chimera made me feel like I may not have been so nice to my mom when I was a kid. I think I will call her now. Another great short by an up and coming star.
